Gld Homes completed a full rewire, double glazing, new central heating system and a new kitchen. We found Gary and the Team to be punctual, hardworking, very clean and tidy and carried out all works to a satisfactory standard all completed within 5 weeks. Gary is a very friendly approachable guy and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We would like to thank Gary, Alex, Steve and Liam for an excellent job and their consideration for us and our Cats living alongside them as they worked. Proficient, extremely capable and totally trustworthy. I have been extremely happy with the standards and result of work undertaken at my property. Additionally, from the perspective of a single woman, GLD Homes don't rip you off or intimidate you (which I've had happen with other companies) and will discuss everything at length to ensure you feel comfortable with all planned works. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will be definitely using them again.

We got on with Gary straight away and felt he would do as promised. Steve did a fab job of the plastering, but the biggest thank you goes to Colin & Andy who worked like Trojans to completely renovate our bathroom from a shell to a dream in five days! We are extremely grateful for all their hard work and would recommend any and all of the guys without pause for thought. When we've saved our pennies, GLD will be back to fit our new windows too...

Wall removed between lounge and dining room, support inserted and rench doors fitted. Both rooms plastered and re-decorated. Flooring laid.

Block Paving to front & rear of property. Re-plastering & decorating in 6 rooms. Installing lowered ceilings & lighting in 4 rooms. Installing shower cubicle, shower & toilet. Constructing an ensuite enclosure with toilet and basin in bedroom. Demolition of walls and installation of new supports. Installation of complete new kitchen. Relocation of staircase. Relocation of door openings & creation of new openings. Fitting of laminate flooring to kitchen/diner and conservatory. Lowering of floors in 2 rooms. Demolition of old conservatory and erection of replacement conservatory. Construction of large concrete base for summerhouse. Decking & steps to front of summerhouse. Removal of old fencing and erection of new fencing and back gate

Having received visits & quotes from several builders, we found Gary to not only be competetive, but also very enthusiastic, pro-active & helpful from the first time we met him. This was a big 4 month project involving extensive work to all the rooms in our house, as well as outside decking, fencing and block paving. The work completed by GLD is of a high standard, and any unforseen problems were always dealt with quickly and efficiently by Gary & his team. Gary has extensive contacts who are able to supply him with any items (kitchens, showers, appliances etc) needed on a major project. These contacts visited us on site with brochures etc, so that we could make an informed choice. This certainly saved us a great deal of time and stress. We found the entire GLD Team to be very professional, hard working, courteous & tidy. We would definitely recommend GLD for any building job, no matter how large or small, and are very pleased that we made such a good choice.
